A New History Starts Now

This page is dedicated to our community sponsorship with the NRL Dolphins from season 2023. Each home game Ausbuild partnered up with a local charity partner in the Moreton Bay region and worked together to activate during game days, and to acknowledge and to give back to our community.

Dolphins V Warriors

The Dolphins NRL played at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night, where they went up against the Warriors.

The Dolphins asserted their dominance with a commanding 62 per cent possession, marching into halftime with an impressive 22-0 lead. In the end, the Dolphins secured a 34-10 victory to cap off the season.

Ausbuild handed out General Admission tickets to the Bray Park State High School community and their families, who proudly joined the guard. This gesture served as a heartfelt recognition of their dedication and tireless efforts in making a positive impact on both students and their families.

Game 23

Dolphins V Cowboys

The Dolphins NRL played at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night, where they went up against fellow Queensland team, the North Queensland Cowboys. Despite the Dolphin's best efforts, the Cowboys saw victory with a full-time score of 10 - 34.

Ausbuild handed out 80 General Admission tickets to the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crew and their families and proudly had four join the guard of honour in recognition of the hard work our local fire services do every day.

Game 18

Dolphins V Panthers

The Dolphins returned to their spiritual home in Redcliffe when they took on the reigning premiers, the Panthers on Sunday 16th July at Kayo Stadium.

The atmosphere was electric, with the Dolphins playing a great game and giving fans plenty to cheer about, despite the final 14-24 defeat to the Panthers.

Ausbuild Match Charity Partner – Give a Child a Chance

Eighty children and their families without the means to afford NRL tickets were invited to join Ausbuild for the last Kayo Stadium match of the 2023 NRL season.

Give a Child a Chance (GACAC) is a local organisation dedicated to improving the education experiences of disadvantaged school children across 29 independent and state schools throughout Moreton Bay.

The weekend was extra memorable for ten children who were invited to join the Dolphins on the field during the matchday Guard of Honour and the Captain’s Run.

Each child was gifted an official jersey and cap thanks to Dynamic Bradview Roofing, which were all signed by the players at the Captain’s Run.

Ausbuild also donated 80 passes to the Give a Child a Chance organisation and their network of families to enjoy the Dolphins V Panthers match.

Game 16

Dolphins V Eels

The Dolphins played at the Sunshine Coast Stadium for the first time when they went up against Parramatta Eels in the sold-out match.

Despite the Eels dominating in the first half, the Dolphins bounced back in the second term, however, it wasn’t enough to turn around the final score with a 48-20 victory to the Eels.

To back the mighty Dolphins, Ausbuild invited 40 volunteers and their families across Moreton Bay State Emergency Services Unit and Caboolture’s PCYC’s Spiders Boxing Gym, who converged on the Sunshine Coast in style thanks to a free bus to and from the game organised by Ausbuild.

When disaster strikes, there’s an orange army of State Emergency Service volunteers across the Moreton Bay Region that provides a beacon of hope to residents. The volunteers assist non-life-threatening emergencies during floods, storms and other similar events across Moreton Bay Region.

Spiders Boxing Gym
Caboolture PCYC’s Spiders Boxing Gym is a not-for-profit organisation that works with at-risk youth and the wider community, with proceeds going towards helping create different pathways and opportunities for boxers to travel and attend tournaments, to gain life experiences in and out of the ring, and help support boxers to progress to becoming better versions of themselves, in the family orientated club.

Dolphins V Dragons

The Dolphins thrilled fans at a sold-out Kayo Stadium after winning 26-12 over the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Ausbuild Match Charity PartnerRBWH Foundation (Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital)

To shine a spotlight on the community superheros playing vital roles in supporting life-changing patient care and health research at Redcliffe Hospital via the RBWH Foundation’s ‘Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital’, Ausbuild invited 10 hospital staff to join the Dolphins on field during the Guard of Honour.

Another 40 hospital staff comprising of doctors, nurses and support staff received game day double passes from Ausbuild.

Dolphins V Storm

The highly anticipated match between Dolphins and Melbourne Storm didn’t go in favour of the home team, losing 16-24.

Ausbuild invited 100 guests from Tribe Social Belonging to catch the game at Suncorp Stadium.

Tribe Social Belonging is a local Moreton Bay charity that provides opportunity through community connections and creating a space where lonely and isolated people feel safe and welcome.

Game 8

Dolphins V Titans

The spirit of the ANZACs was strong when the Dolphins played their first ANZAC Round Clash against the Gold Coast Titans at Suncorp Stadium.

Coming back from 26-0 to beat the Titans 28-26, the match was equal to the biggest comeback in premiership history, going back to 1908.

In memory of local Diggers who died in WWI, the team wore a jersey paying tribute to Anzac Avenue, a road built from Petrie to Redcliffe for their first ANZAC Round Clash.

Ausbuild Match Charity Partner – The Carers Foundation Australia

Ausbuild invited 150 unpaid carers from The Carers Foundation Australia to witness the historic comeback victory, including two families that joined the special Guard of Honour.

The Carers Foundation Australia supports unpaid carers who give up their life to care for their loved one at home, which often means a lot of sacrifices and isolation.

Dolphins V Rabbitohs

Despite the Dolphins dominating in the first half, the Sydney Rabbitohs came out swinging in the second to win 36-14.

Ausbuild invited 150 people across headspace (Redcliffe & Strathpine branches) and Encircle Redcliffe to enjoy the Dolphins V Rabbitohs match.

headspace (Redcliffe & Strathpine) provides counselling and support to young people aged 12 to 25 in our community going through a tough time.

Encircle Redcliffe provides a range of support services including emergency relief, counselling, homelessness, family support and community legal services.

Dolphins V Broncos

The Broncos edged out the Dolphins 18-12 in an epic inaugural Battle of Brisbane that lived up to the hype in front of 51,047 fans at Suncorp Stadium.

Ausbuild donated 70 double passes to be raffled off for the highly anticipated match between the Dolphins vs Broncos.

A total of $10,000 raised from the raffle tickets will support a Redcliffe family who escaped war-torn Ukraine.

The funds will help support three generations of the Torchinska family and help reunite them with family still in Urkaine.

Dolphins V Raiders

The Dolphins clinched their second win and the first at the club’s spiritual home. The Dolphins beat the Canberra Raisers 20-14 in front of a crowd of more than 10,000 at Redcliffe’s Kayo Stadium.

Ausbuild partnered with the RBWH Foundation to support the Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital initiative.

Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital provides the opportunity for patients and staff, past and present, as well as the broader community to show their support and gratitude of the Redcliffe Hospital and collectively raise-much needed funds for medical research, equipment and other initiatives that ensure patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dolphins V Roosters

The Dolphins made a winning NRL debut in the highly anticipated clash against the Roosters on Sunday, 5 March with 32,000+ fans packing Suncorp Stadium. The Dolphins will go down in history after they took home a dramatic 28-18 win over their much-fancied rivals.

Ausbuild Match Charity Partner – Rocksberg Moorina Rural Fire Brigade

Ausbuild partnered with Rocksberg Moorina Rural Fire Brigade who were named the inaugural Match Charity Partner.

Volunteers from the Rocksberg Moorina Rural Fire Brigade were invited to join the Dolphins on field in the guard of honour, as well as received tickets to enjoy the historic match.
