Over the weekend, the Redcliffe foreshore was transformed into a sea of colour and excitement as thousands gathered for the Redcliffe KiteFest. With skies filled by giant show kites, spectacular performances, family entertainment, carnival rides, and plenty of delicious food, the festival delivered unforgettable moments for all ages.

Ausbuild was proud to once again sponsor the Kite Flying Arena, the centrepiece of the festival where creativity and fun soared high. From intricate kite designs to giant inflatables, the arena drew crowds of all ages who were mesmerised by the vibrant display above.

Across the weekend, crowds gathered to see celebrity chefs including Miguel Maestre, Julie Goodwin, Mike Reid, Matt Golinski and Alastair McLeod, alongside talented local chefs, take to the stage with inspiring live demonstrations. 

We were also delighted to present the Friday and Sunday Locals Tickets, helping more residents of the City of Moreton Bay enjoy everything the festival has to offer at a discounted rate.

As the sponsor for The Kitchen, the festival's main stage, we were thrilled to support an event that showcased some of Australia's biggest celebrity chefs. Festivalgoers had the chance to meet these culinary stars at our branded photobooth, creating unforgettable memories.

This year’s festival broke records with the highest-ever attendance and ticket sales, with two out of the three days selling out. The Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival continues to attract visitors from across Australia, celebrating everything this vibrant region has to offer.

The Jetty 2 Jetty Marathon & Fun Run is the longest running and most scenic fun run event in Queensland. A cornerstone event in Queensland’s running calendar, it offers participants an incomparable experience, running against the backdrop of the stunning Moreton Bay coastline.

Ausbuild was the proud sponsor of the 3KM Fun Run, ideal for families and younger participants. The Fun Run promotes community involvement and a love for health and fitness. Adding to the excitement, Aussie the mascot was there to entertain and bring joy to festivalgoers. Aussie had a busy weekend posing for photos, giving out high-fives, and making sure everyone was having the best time.
