Jane RoebuckHome completed Thursday, 15 April 2010" I have previously built new houses but the last experience I had building (2005-2006) was one of great turmoil and disappointment and in short it was an insurance claim through the QBSA as the builder had his license revoked and the construction issues with the house were numerous. So when I was thinking of purchasing an investment property a new house was the last choice. After looking at established houses and the work that needed to be undertaken either now or in the future I then reconsidered the idea of a new house. I met Carinka initially in February 2009 who she was extremely helpful but it took four months for me go ahead with building as my past experience weighed heavily on my mind. My previous experience was that the Sales Consultants were great but the construction process was horrendous. Carinka was reassuring throughout the process and met my criteria including design changes and price limitations. I met owners in the estate that had built with Ausbuild and they were positive about their experiences (this was of my own accord). The building experience has been nothing but positive and I thank Aaron and Catherine for there professionalism and communication. Communication is the key and was one of the biggest failings last time I built as no one ever communicated with us. So I have to thank Ausbuild as I cannot fault you any way. The key areas of success are again communication, superb organisation and ability to adhere to deadlines, customer service in particular your ability to work with clients in a harmonious manner. " |

The second house I built was an extreme disaster and an insurance claim under QBSA Insurance and it was this experience that made me hesitant to build again. However this time the building process has been the easiest as Ausbuild have delivered a quality home with no issues during the whole construction process and the completion was a month earlier than expected. Highlights were the open communication, honesty and professionalism from the point of sale and contract to construction and completion. In an industry that is plagued with a poor reputation it is refreshing to find a home builder that delivers exactly what they promise.
